My way of giving back ....
I create unique artwork of animals then I donate them to silent auctions to sell them for the animal rescues. I also donate to the zoo auctions to help support wild life. My Lollipupgirl Artwork is also hanging in local animal hospitals to help cheer people up while waiting to take their pet in to see the doctor. My artwork has a very candy like theme with a lot of colors. Very uplifting and leaves a lot to look at for entertainment.
I also take time to check on dog food companies to make sure they are not fooling us. I study dog food and learn what is right and what is wrong. I will not hesitate on calling the AAFCO on dog food labels if they are not advertising faithfully. I have made a difference with a few big brand dog food companies already by contacting the presidents and begging them to make a change. Some have made a change and some haven't. Keep in touch with lollypupgirl dog blogs for the latest in recalls and rescue stories
I also try to do my part by placing dogs in homes through this blog by matching up the perfect family for the right pet. I have a special page that I post dogs in need of anything along with their story and photos. I then send it out to thousands of people asap. I am proud to say I have found tons of dogs happy homes and along with my own rescue story on another page. This is my way of giving my back and helping because I am in a position at this time in my life where I can't rescue due to where I live. So this is how I make up for it! One day I shall live in a fenced yard that is not on a corner lot and I will feel more comfortable taking as many rescues as I please!
